Dramaturgical research, the protagonist of Palinodie's prose productions, is also at the center of its children's theater productions. The text is the starting point of the creative process: the dramaturgies of this cycle of shows are an opportunity to subvert the established balance in the fairy tales of gender stereotype, social inequality, and environmental speculation and show an alternative and desired universe for future generations.
After the word, the creation work passes through a precise design of the direction that returns this theatrical-poetic vision of the world, which actors and actresses witness without sparing themselves in anything, in a full exploration of voice, body, rhythm, dynamics, songs. For the creation of the cycle of performances Fairy Tales in the Woods, the company activated a process involving all the crafts of theater-making, a situation that is increasingly rare in the contemporary production context.

HOW DID THE CYCLE OF PERFORMANCES COME ABOUT?
During the summer of 2019, Stefania Tagliaferri and Verdiana Vono, authors and directors of the Palinodie theater company, conceived and staged the new shows of the Fairy Tales in the Woods review, curated by the Office Régional du Tourisme. Since then, two new shows have been added each year, for a total of 10 works, which circulate within the Fairy Tales in the Woods review between 2019 and 2021. From 2025, the shows re-enter the regional programming of Fairy Tales in the Woods.
