The vision paths open artistic connections between the Company and the multiple cultural realities--whether artists, practitioners, operators, groups--active locally, nationally or abroad, through innovative theatrical practices.
The intent is to place itself in dialogue, through artistic direction work. The strength lies not in the single artistic intervention, but in the set of cultural experiences that, related in space and time, contribute to redesigning a place and time, the present one, toward the future we desire.
I percorsi di visione si innestano sul luogo delle radici di Palinodie: le montagne valdostane e si ramificano nel portare la creazione teatrale contemporanea in contesti distanti dai principali centri di cultura, talvolta percepiti come più svantaggiati.
L’esigenza scaturisce dalla necessità di creare connessioni, per non isolare la propria ricerca, ma aprirla ai diversi linguaggi delle identità culturali verso le quali vi è un’affinità di idee, voci, prospettive.
L’intento finale dei percorsi di visione è abitare il confine e andare lontano, ospitando diverse interpretazioni e declinazioni di contemporaneo, anche in chiave intergenerazionale.
I percorsi di visione chiamano in causa il lavoro con il pubblico, coltivato costantemente. Sono azioni che nascono da precise valutazioni di contesto e, soprattutto, dall’esigenza di nutrire contatto e vicinanza.
Le linee curatoriali di Palinodie nutrono la tensione tra “restanza” (Teti) e “tornanza” (Prota/Albano), interrogandosi sempre su come uscire dallo stereotipo e dal luogo comune sui territori alpini. Che sia l’immagine della montagna, dell’area interna, delle persone che la abitano.
Ci interessa uscire dai confini e coltivare, pezzo per pezzo, pensiero critico e democrazia richiamando il teatro alla sua forza originaria di rito collettivo in un cui una comunità si rispecchia e si definisce.
I percorsi di visione si intrecciano con le azioni di rigenerazione culturale, l’una cosa e l’altra si avverano insieme e talvolta è difficile distinguerle. Da considerare due punti di partenza distinti per realizzare un progetto comune, di teatro che incide nella dimensione pubblica.

End of Summer Festival
From September 12 to 14, 2025, the MAB will host the first edition of End of Summer Festival, an event dedicated to contemporary theater, drama and poetry. A new cultural event that will enliven the spaces of the Maison des Artistes and the village of Bard among words, poetry and performances.
